Accessing funds

Withdrawal policy

This policy explains available methods, verification, processing, delays and user responsibilities. The account provider's current terms and transaction confirmation govern a specific request.

1. Purpose and acceptance

The withdrawal process is designed to return available funds to a verified owner while meeting fraud, payment and Australian AML/CTF obligations. By submitting a request, the user confirms that the destination information is accurate and that required checks can be completed.

A displayed account balance may include unsettled transactions, open positions or amounts subject to a hold. Only the amount confirmed as available can be released.

2. Available methods

Eligible methods may include an Australian bank account, a return to a Visa or Mastercard used for funding, or an approved digital wallet where the provider supports it. Availability depends on the original funding route, provider capability and account history.

As a fraud control, funds are generally returned to a verified method in the user's own name. A different destination can require further evidence and may not be accepted.

3. Processing time

Australian bank transfers usually take one to three business days after approval. Eligible card returns generally take one to five business days, while some verified digital-wallet requests may be released within 24 hours.

These periods exclude the time needed to resolve missing information and any additional settlement time applied by a bank, card issuer, intermediary or network. Weekends and public holidays can affect business-day calculations.

4. Fees and expenses

Corvenhall Trust lists supported withdrawal methods as free. A bank, issuer, payment provider, network, executing provider or currency converter may impose its own cost.

Known charges should be shown before confirmation. If an unexpected third-party charge appears, request the transaction breakdown from support and the responsible provider.

5. Limits

Minimum and maximum amounts can depend on the method, provider, available balance, verification status and legal requirements. A large request may be processed in stages or require evidence about the source and intended destination.

A limit is an operational control, not a recommendation about how much to keep invested. Users should plan liquidity needs and avoid committing funds required at short notice.

6. KYC and AML/CTF checks

Identity must be verified before withdrawal where required. Support may request a current identity document, address evidence, payment ownership, source-of-funds information or confirmation of recent account activity.

Checks can be renewed when documents expire, personal details change or risk indicators arise. Provide information only through the approved secure channel.

7. Reasons for delay or refusal

A request can be delayed or refused where names or destinations do not match, information is incomplete, documents are invalid, funds are unsettled, a chargeback exists, fraud is suspected, a legal restriction applies or technical details are incorrect.

Where lawful, the user will be told what is outstanding and whether it can be corrected. Some monitoring or reporting information cannot be disclosed.

8. User responsibilities

The user must review the account number, BSB, card or wallet destination before submitting a request. A transfer sent to incorrect details can be difficult or impossible to recover.

Keep contact details current, protect authentication methods and respond promptly to a genuine verification request. Never give a password or one-time code to a person claiming it is needed to approve a withdrawal.

9. Cancellation or change

A pending request may be cancelled or changed only before processing reaches a point where the provider cannot safely stop it. Contact support immediately with the request reference.

Changing the destination can trigger a new security review and reset the expected processing period. A completed transaction cannot be reversed by Corvenhall Trust.

10. Support

For status information, email [email protected] with the date, amount, method and request reference. The ordinary response target is usually under one business hour during Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:30 AEST/AEDT (excluding public holidays).

Do not send a complete card number, password, private key or authentication code. If you believe the destination was changed without permission, state that the issue is urgent.

11. Policy updates

This policy can be updated to reflect law, provider arrangements, fraud controls, payment methods or operational changes. The current version takes effect when published unless a later date is stated.

A material change does not remove rights that already arose under applicable law. Review the policy before making a new request.
